When you pair golden Texas winter light, the stunning Desiree, and the talented Tara Hobgood you get magic. Dez’s bridal portrait session is elegance personified.
When I was planning my own wedding, more than 15 years ago, bridal portraits weren’t really a thing on the West Coast. And, definitely not in Southern Oregon. I kind of thought they were an archaic stiff in-studio thing that primarily existed on the check lists provided by wedding magazines. I’m so glad I was wrong!
Thanks also to wedding photography making some huge paradigm shifts over the last 15 years; bridals are now one of my favorite Southern wedding traditions. Not only is it practical; what else are you going to do after your hair and make up trail run? But, as Desiree and Tara demonstrate, you also get truly relaxed artful images of yourself as a bride.
