Jennifer + Lee

Jennifer and Lee were my final 2022 wedding. Though they live in DFW they are Tech alumni and love all things Lubbock. They had a small ceremony at the Kent R Hance Chapel and reception at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion. They kept the wedding small that it could be, “a true celebration of [Jennifer & Lee’s] families and friends all being together in one place and just sharing in the joy.”

Their day was truly filled with connection and joyful celebration.

As I tried to select pictures for this post I realized I had saved many (more than I can include) that captured moments of connection. Not just between Jennifer & Lee, but with their families and friends.

They, and their community, are joyous, loving, and warm. The picture of hospitality; of grace.

For style Jennfier wanted to nod to both the Christmas season and Texas Tech in their colors and decor. We bridged both elements by incorporating her love of MacKenzie-Childs and pink to create a fresh and festive mood.

Rather than fighting the short December daylight they embraced it by having a sparkler exit at both the ceremony and the reception. And to the reception Jennifer added a snow machine for a truly magical departure.

My mom and I really enjoyed working with you and you made things feel seamless. Also, the florals were stunning!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
