Devin and Kristen both enjoy spending time in the woods and mountains of Southern Oregon. So Kristen wanted to incorporate some of that woodsy beauty into their wedding while maintaining some whimsy to keep the design light. She wanted a little bit of fairytale. They were married in June on an enchanting Rogue Valley evening.
I have known Kristen’s parents for a few years and was delighted to fly back to Oregon and contribute to this grounded and dedicated couple’s wedding. I kept all the bouquets and centerpieces light with airy pink flowers and garden roses. To echo the green of the region and turquoise wedding color I also added green-blue accents of jasmine, eucalyptus and succulents. For the centerpieces Kristen’s dad made vases out of pine branches which we set on beds of moss and blue hydrangea blossoms. It felt a little sacrilege to cut up such amazing heads of hydrangeas but the effect was a perfect touch of whimsy.
Thank you for all your hard work, love, and care in planning Kristen’s flowers. You went far out of the way to do this for us and they were so perfect. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Tina, Mother of the Bride
