I first had the privileged of working with Caitlin & Ryan Photography at Anna and Keith’s Southwest Glam Wedding. We clicked immediately and chatted that night about maybe doing a style shoot together. We found the perfect opportunity later that summer when a new wedding venue Eberley Brooks Events opened here in Lubbock, Texas.
Eberley Brooks is a barn venue but is more refined than rustic with a glamorous vibe. The newly married and sweetly in love Thomas & Jerilyn volunteered to model. They beautifully embodied the chic style Caitlin envisioned. For the flowers and decor I blended glamorous Southwest touches–golds, bold shapes and textures–to complement the fresh and trendy style of our models with the softness of English garden blooms–dahlias, chamomile–to echo the refinement and craftsmanship of the venue. All the elements came together beautifully.
If you had a rural upbringing, and want your wedding to acknowledge those roots, but your style isn’t rustic then you will love this shoot.
