Timeless Handcrafted Wedding | Abilene, Texas

Brandon and Sadie’s wedding was one of the highlights of my summer. They are such a fun, modest couple, and they clearly adore each other (check out the post ceremony pictures below). While they wanted a beautiful wedding and a fantastic experience for their guests, they also wanted to avoid the limelight as much as possible. So we put the head table in the middle of the room with all the guest tables and skipped the bouquet and garter tosses.

Sadie’s tastes are timeless without being tired. (I would love to steal their perfect vintage fixer upper kitchen.) She wanted lots of “gardeny” flowers arranged in Brandon’s pottery. A professional and talented potter he made the most amazing pots for all the centerpieces and we used his work as décor and serving pieces. Sadie found old lace curtains that we turned into table runners. Her father made the cake. And, a friend made the ceremony sign.

To enhance the fun, not too serious vibe there was a Polaroid guestbook, photo booth, board and yard games, the shoe game, and the most delicious Texas barbecue dinner.

With only four months of planning, Jessica was able to complete my absolute dream come true wedding. She was so very helpful– quick to respond to texts, emails, phone calls, and she didn’t mind driving all the way down to Abilene for in person meetings. She also did my flowers and they were absolutely to die for. Everyone after our wedding had so many positive things to say about flowers and little details. We definitely owe that all to Jessica! Highly highly highly recommended! – Sadie
