  • Who is going to the #lubbockbridalshowcase Sunday? What, it is Sunday already ... so make that who is going this afternoon?! This year I had the privilege of assisting a couple colleagues with flowers for their booths. You’ll be able to spot Bouquet 1 in @thewillowseventcenter booth and Bouquet 2 with @greenhouse_creative. While you’re checking out all the great wedding professionals make sure to stop by these two booths and say “hi”, learn about their services, and see these pretties in person. Happy planning! P.S. And, if you’re worried about overwhelm; go in with a plan. Know which categories of pros you need to research and give yourself permission to ignore the rest. And, make yourself little notes like “friendly photographer” or “artful images” so that when you are processing after the event you remember who you liked and why and can follow up with them.

  • Samantha and Tyler wanted their #decemberwedding to be seasonal but not Christmasy. For their guests to feel like they had been invited into a cozy home, an intimate celebration. So @samanthaw76 and I paired rich colors, vintage rugs, and warm candlelight to convey just the welcoming environment they had dreamed of; a near perfect #christmaswedding. That was perfectly captured by @greenhouse_creative
  • Happy #firstanniversary to these two sweet souls! (Albeit belated congratulations due to a busy family weekend.) When @samanthaw76 (a florist herself) and I first spoke she told me she couldn’t imagine limiting herself to just one or two colors for her flowers.   • Hey there! If we haven't officially met yet (and there are some new faces here), this is me, the girl behind this wedding flower and planning business. My 2018 wedding season is just about complete so I'm enjoying spending more time wearing my mom and wife hats. Taking time to learning new design and business skills. Reading for fun. Plotting a bedroom redesign for my boys' Christmas present. But I am also so loving meeting and dreaming with 2019 couples. There have been a lot of long chats over coffee, sweet love stories, problem solving logistics, and dreaming up beautiful and equally meaningful celebrations. How is your November?
