In the wedding world the term “barn wedding” is usually synonymous with rustic, casual, and country. Kelli and Jacob’s Cotton Creek Barn wedding breaks that mold and proves that a rustic celebration can also be chic and elegant.
Kelli is a graphic designer by trade and with that artistic talent and trained eye she curated a chic wedding that honored her and Jacob’s mutual rural and agricultural backgrounds. Like so many of my favorite couples, they choose to incorporate thoughtful elements that welcomed their guests into their story, such as: sugar cookies made by Kelli’s mom in the shape of Michigan (Kelli’s home state) and Texas (Jacob’s home state) for the dessert table, wine and beer selected from their home states, lyrics from their favorite songs placed on each table, and books of their favorite recipes as favors.
It was an honor to design and execute Kelli’s flower vision and coordinate her and Jacob’s lovely wedding day. Allee J beautifully captured all the details so I’ll let the photos tell the story.
